​A genuine auto-didact, Samuel entered the world of professional photography from a personal desire to connect with people via the camera lens.  Blessed with an outstanding visual memory, Samuel, from a young age, developed a pure fascination with the perspective that comes from taking a different angle. In photography, he found the perfect channel for his skills, and a medium with which he could give people the greatest possible gift – the gift of memory, documenting milestone events, such as weddings, bar mitzvahs and bat mitzvahs, in unique photographs full of life and character.

​ With his French-Israeli heritage, steeped in a love of Jewish tradition, connection to the land of Israel, and the influence of his family’s European origins, Samuel Sebag brings an inquisitive yet sympathetic eye to his photographic works. Indeed, Samuel’s understanding of his subjects is rooted in his own personal journey, from professional hi-tech worker who endured a life-transforming event, to photographer delving beneath the layers to visually capture the heart of the moment, so it can live forever.
